Beauty Review: Marc Jacobs Beauty

HAPPY NEW YEAR Y'ALL! (as I say that 22 days late) ooops. My bad. I got caught up in life, which I will explain more about in the next blog post. However, today I want to take the time to share some honest opinions about some products that I've received from Influenster.

I received my Velvet Noir mascara in my Infuenster VoxBox and I was hesitant to try it out. Honestly, The big fat bristles took me back a bit. I tossed it into my purse and left it there for a while. It wasn't until I needed to put mascara on and it was the only one in my bag that I was able to try it. I must say, so such a large bristled brush I like it because it really adds volume to my lashes, but at the same time it is too heavy and it makes my eyelashes point back down after I already curled them, and I have to curl them again after I apply the mascara which sucks.. However, I've found that if you use Sephora's Hipster lashes and with Marc Jacobs' Velvet Noir it is a match made for the false lash Gods!

For an introductory "luxe" mascara this is a great one. It's only $26.00 at Sephora. While I wouldn't pick this up for myself (I'm hooked on YSL) I would recommend to all of my friends and family.
