My Diagnosis- Blogs April 2006

This is James, he and my friend Jordan and her friend Jonathan came to visit me during my first hospital admittance in '06

April 2nd, 2006 @ 2:00pm: Going into the hospital now. Not sure when I'll be out. I'm supposed to get a treatment called IV Solumedrol. Not too sure what to expect, but so damn thankful to know what is going on. They think I may have a disease called Transverse Myelitis, but that it is usually monophasic. We shall see.... If I don't post again this month, it's because I'm not feeling well.

April 19th, 2006 @ 8:07pm: Out of the hospital and feeling better. IV Solumedrol is just a fancy word for steroids. 5+ days, a lumbar puncture, and many MRIs later. Dr. G believes that it is TM and we should follow up with the TMA. What is TM? ARGH! I also feel like raging. Like, fighting, screaming, yelling...... but I also feel like crying, and sad. I also feel hungry. Very hungry. Are these steroids? Ugh! I don't like them....

I didn't post again this month, safe to assume that I wasn't feeling it at all.
